SCG Profile SCG has been operating business in Myanmar for over 20 years as importers with not only cement but also other building materials products. SCG has become the leading cement provider. SCG started its second subsidiary, Mawlamyine Cement Limited; building its first integrated Greenfield cement plant in Mawlamyine starting from 2013 and invested over 400 million USD in building a clean & green manufacturing plant which started operating in 2016. The establishment of the new cement plant could create job opportunities for more than 1,000 locals. The cement plant is operated with a production capacity of 5,000 tonnes per day.
